The brief

With more than 800 years of history, The Lord Mayor's Show is one of the City of London's annual highlights as the incoming Lord Mayor of London rides in his carriage through the Square Mile before taking office. The Lord Mayor's Show Guide is the only written record of the world's largest unrehearsed procession.

The challenge

Since its inception in 2002, PSP Rare has published The Lord Mayor's Show Guide and is proud of its ongoing relationship with the City of London and the organisers of the show. Each year, the challenge is to create a publication that reflects the personality and goals of the incoming Lord Mayor, and to create a souvenir publication that simultaneously generates around £15,000 for charity.

Results

Each year, The Lord Mayor's Show Guide is recognised by the show's organisers, the Lord Mayor himself and his chosen charities as an integral and highly successful publication that acts as both a guide on the day of the procession, and as a commemorative piece that captures a snapshot of the city's history and heritage.
