Specialist publishing agency PSP Rare went all red and took to the streets to raise money for its client the British Heart Foundation as part of National Wear Red Day, the culmination of the charity’s high profile National Heart Month.
PSP Rare team, which produces the British Heart Foundation’s wide range of print publications, wore red costumes for their monthly staff social, raising money and spreading awareness of the cause.
Rebecca Davies-Nash, Managing Editor of the British Heart Foundation’s titles at PSP Rare, said: “The British Heart Foundation’s National Heart Month has been exceptional this year, with events to help people across the UK get healthy and raise awareness of their heart’s health. The PSP team have been involved in these events for the BHF’s magazines, but we wanted to do our own little bit of fundraising for a good cause.”
PSP Rare’s publications for the British Heart Foundation include Heart Matters, a publication for people recovering from heart problems, and Thrive, a magazine with healthy heart and lifestyle advice for families. The magazines are distributed free to subscribers and are also available from doctor’s surgeries and health centres across the UK. PSP Rare also recently produced a healthy recipe book for the BHF.
