Following its recent announcement of plans to expand its creative services offer, leading contract publishing group, PSP Holdings has confirmed the acquisition of STAN, a Manchester based PR and digital creative agency.
The deal underlines PSP’s commitment to developing its multi-media offer whilst strengthening its regional presence outside of the capital and particularly in the North West where it has already identified significant new business opportunities.
STAN is a PR and digital agency that combines traditional public and media relations with the very latest online technology and digital marketing techniques. The company has picked up a succession of new account wins over the past twelve months across a range of business to business and consumer sectors, many of them complementary to PSP Holdings’ own client portfolio.
PSP Holdings’ CEO, Peter Moore commented: “As well as developing the growth of our customer publishing division, PSP Rare, we are committed to investing in and working with exciting new companies that can extend and enhance the broader services we are able to offer our clients.
“There is enormous synergy between STAN’s approach to digital communications and what our group is trying to achieve in customer publishing. We believe that this acquisition, the first in what we intend to be an ongoing expansion programme, will enable us to provide a very distinct and compelling multi-media offer.”
STAN director, Stephen Greene had already worked with PSP Rare on a number of client projects before this latest deal was finalised. He added: “PSP’s investment and the client introductions it can effect will enable us to build on the reputation we’ve already established and to grow our business much quicker than we ever could organically in the current climate.”
