Kia opts for i-mag to drive awareness

April 21st, 2008

eureka, the successful customer magazine produced for Kia Motors by PSP Rare Publishing, has been launched as an enhanced, exciting i-mag.

It is the first time Kia Motors has used this type of marketing tool, which it hopes will further develop the brand, attract new customers and increase traffic to the Kia website www.kia.co.uk.

The printed eye-catching magazine uses dynamic photography alongside appealing lifestyle articles. The i-mag has enabled the publisher to develop this content into a three-dimensional media channel with additional sophisticated photography, sound files and video content, including the most recent Kia TV advert.

eureka is a fantastic magazine, but it is only sent to existing Kia customers,” said Grahame Lane, managing director of PSP Rare. “We have been able to widen the audience with the i-mag. In the first four days following the launch there were 34 requests to receive the i-mag. It has proved to be an effective way to increase website content and drive up visitor numbers.”

Since its launch four years ago, research on Kia’s customer magazine eureka has shown that it has been effective in enhancing brand awareness and readers are more likely to by a Kia car in the future.

The online magazine is created as a single flash file and can be seen at www.kia.co.uk.
