The football world is in the midst of its annual transfer frenzy, with speculation and rumours dominating the sports pages, and all the usual scandal filling the tabloids.
This is a time of year when clubs are under particularly stiff scrutiny from fans to do what is right for the team. Fans like to feel involved. They love getting the inside scoop and, more often than not, the inside scoop will come from an unreliable external fanclub blog or newsletter.
