Daska Davis welcomed back to PSP Rare

August 25th, 2009

Leading customer publishing company PSP Rare has welcomed former employee Daska Davis back into its team after a sabbatical in Canada.

Davis was a founder member of PSP Rare Publishing but left in May 2007 to pursue a career as Editorial Director with a Canadian publishing firm.  After a two year career in Canada, Davis made the decision to return to the UK.

“The UK is at the forefront of the world’s publishing standards,” said Davis.  “Working in Canada was a real eye-opener.”

Davis starts work officially this month as editorial director, and will be working to push editorial standards higher as well as engaging in concerted new business activity.

“The PSP Rare team is truly unique.  I missed them while I was off on my travels but I’m hoping to bring some new fresh ideas with me as I rejoin.”

Peter Moore, CEO of PSP Rare, said: “I’m really glad we could lure Daska back into the office.  The team have been really busy while she’s been gone and we’ve got lots of new projects which we’re looking forward to getting her input on.”

PSP Rare recently won a new contract to publish the Training & Development Agency for School’s ‘Teach’ magazine, as well as new projects with longstanding client, the British Heart Foundation.
