The photoshoot was for an article in Kia’s eureka magazine, which PSP Rare produce, and was to promote the release of Kia’s new Venga family car.

“The London Marathon covers the most iconic parts of England’s capital,” said Daska Davis at PSP Rare. “The Venga is an all-action family car, designed to make gruelling journeys comfortable and fun. We wanted to reflect this with our photos, and so we took the car on the London Marathon route – one of the most gruelling journeys any British runner has to face. The weather was fantastic, and we got some excellent shots for the magazine.”

eureka magazine is circulated to around 70,000 UK Kia car owners provides insight into Kia’s range of cars and the future development of its fleet. Recent articles in eureka include a feature on urban farmers; an article exploring technological advancements in the next ten years; and an article on the history of traffic lights.

“At PSP Rare, we produce exceptional quality media for our clients,” said Daska. “Whether it’s photography, editorial or illustration or a magazine, catalogue or website, we like to produce something which stands out as unique – which lets the reader know that the brand they’re reading about is head and shoulders above the competition.”

PSP Rare is welcoming user experience and digital creative veterans Clint Golding and Kaoru Sato into the fold to form PSP Rare Digital.

Golding and Sato will be moving into PSP Rare’s offices in Clerkenwell in mid-April. As PSP Rare’s new dedicated digital media team, they will be working on improving PSP Rare’s digital publishing services as well as offering traditional website design services.

The move comes as PSP Rare looks to integrate its current bespoke publishing services with emerging digital publishing technology like the new iPad, tablet PCs and the fast developing e-reader market.

Peter Moore, CEO of PSP Rare, explains: “Effective brand communication is changing. With the web, smartphones and the arrival of new devices like the Apple iPad publishing reaches further than just printed magazines. PSP Rare already produce outstanding content for our clients’ publications and there is an opportunity to take that content further. As customers opt for new ways of connecting with businesses and brands it is important that the content they enjoy moves with them.”

“For projects in the past, we have often looked to Clint and Kaoru for their expertise and insight. With growing demand from clients to provide an integrated direct communication service, it made sense to make the guys a part of the PSP Rare family. Clint and Kaoru are also uniquely skilled to help us to integrate our existing e-reader technology into new hardware and software formats, so our clients’ publications can be viewed more easily, and by a wider audience.”

PSP Rare produces print and digital magazines for clients such as The British Heart Foundation, The Royal Society, Kia Motors UK Ltd and the UK Trade & Investment. Publications include commemorative programmes, customer magazines and catalogues.

“We are looking forward to what we can achieve with the team at PSP Rare,” said Golding. “Our user experience orientated approach to digital design and online content is geared towards genuinely engaging with visitors. Good content is essential but what makes it truly successful in digital media is a compelling online experience. Websites and mobile phones have got to be easy to use, so we’re matching the quality of the content with a great experience.”

“With PSP Rare’s expertise in creating branded editorial we have the opportunity provide businesses and brands with the sort of service that they could never previously find under one roof. Our digital design skills combined with the existing team’s outstanding content production talent is unmatched in the current market.”

PSP Rare produce magazines, catalogues, websites, social media and digital content across a wide range of industries. To find out more about what PSP Rare can do for your business, call 0207 566 9910 or email info@psprare.com
