heart health, the British Heart Foundation’s highly successful, by-monthly title has increased in size from 28 to 36 pages. The move reflects the magazine’s growing subscription base, its relevance and ability to meet the needs of its readership (according to the Progressive survey 2007) and the diversity of projects that the BHF itself heads up.
“We made the decision to go by-monthly two issues ago because of the amount of time sensitive information we wanted to put into the magazine. Despite this increase in the number of magazines per year, each issue was still frustratingly full so we took the decision to increase the pagination. Even now with the eight page increase we are still bursting at the seams!” said Olena Baker, British Heart Foundation editor.
